Multiplayer & Zombies

Most people may not know much about the Black Ops Cold War multiplayer changes, but the company did confirm that there are a number of details regarding the progression and the cross-platform play.

To start with, the game wıll feature a cross-play that is not just across the platforms as it was when they introduced the game last year, but it will also feature generations as well.

So, this means that the players on the Xbox series will be able to play with PS4s as well as with other combinations involved. There will also be a seasonal battle pass which is just like for other shooters and battle royale games.

However, the most unique benefit for the Black Ops Cold War game will be the shared progression with the Warzone and its ability to keep modern warfare content such as Skins.

Additionally, Raven and Treyarch have promised a return of zombies which is one of the most massively popular COD horde modes that first arrived with the Treyarch’s World at War game in 2008.

The studio has however not shared anything substantial about the zombies to date. They do however have plans of revealing more about it later at a date closer to the release.

Warzone

This is one of the most important variables in Activision and its studios have to contend with the COD game launch this fall.

The publisher has also promised that Warzone will continue to live on the incorporate new features and in the content from the new COD entries well into the future.

It is however imperative that Activision gets this right if it wants Warzone to continue being a successful pillar of the franchise.
