Some Drawbacks

Because the 12 different Star Wars scenes are treated as dioramas, there is not much that you can do with them outside of just looking at them and exploring the environment.
It’s still fun, but it can get boring after a while.
On Hoth, you are treated to a scene that features a snowspeeder that is about to shoot its tow cable at an AT-AT’s legs, but that, of course, never happens.
Can Become Monotonous
Both the snowspeeder and the massive robot are made from placed blocks, which cannot and will never move.
You’ll only be able to look at them suspended in midair.
You can only look at these scenes for so long before you get the urge to play an actual Star Wars game or even rewatch the movies.
That being said, there are scenes that are more lifelike. You are able to blast a laser cannon from The Mandalorian first episode, but moments like that are few and far between.
You Might Be Left Wanting
The Star Wars DLC for Minecraft suffers where all other film DLC packs do, in that, while it looks great on the surface, a closer inspection quickly reveals what’s hidden beneath. Both the TIE Fighter and X-Wing are mobs of some sort, and are prone to sudden death in the air.
Stormtroopers are zombies, speeders are horses, and astromech droids are chickens. There is clearly only so much the Mojang team could do to replicate the world of Star Wars in Minecraft.
But their attempt appears to have both begun and ended with the way things would look rather than how playing the DLC would feel.
The target audience for Minecraft and its DLCs like this are children - a group that is much more willing to look past the lack of gameplay for the spectacle of being in the world of Star Wars, so we can’t be too critical of the product.
Star Wars Mods for Minecraft
Minecraft’s modding community is one of the largest in the world, and everyday users are releasing mods that make small but much-needed changes or that completely overhaul the game to something fresh, unique, and interesting. There are several Star Wars mods amongst them.
For instance, the Starfall mod adds plenty of new blocks to the game, which all resemble the mechanical stuff you might find in a starship or base in Star Wars.
