In the game, you play as a mercenary tasked with different missions, and you get to explore the different districts of Night City. Each district has its own culture, and it reflects heavily on the people that run the area.

Afterlife

Afterlife can be seen at the earlier stages in the game. What makes this pub special is the experience. You come in, get some nice drinks, and have a chat with friends.

The entire pub feels like your hometown bar but is set in the Cyberpunk universe. You can sit back and relax all by yourself and listen to the murmurs of conversation in the background while watching naked dancers in tubes.

Some would often come to Afterlife for its drinks and hope that someday a drink would be named after your notoriety, but it is the experience of getting to kick back and relax that makes Afterlife a cool place to visit in Cyberpunk.

It also helps that the establishment was aptly named Afterlife as it was formerly a morgue. Think of Mos Eisley Cantina set in the Cyberpunk universe, and you get Afterlife.

The Interstate

If you're done with strolling the streets of Night City, and you want to get away from it all, why not go ahead and take yourself for an early morning drive at The Interstate?

Lizzie's Bar

Situated within the Watson District, many consider Lizzie's Bar as a haven for the working class of Night City. Elizabeth Borden previously owned the establishment as the leader of the Moxes, who sheltered embattled and abused men and women and called the bar their home.

After her death, the Moxes took over the bar, and their legacy became widespread as protectors of the abused. The bar also features a great ambiance and a perfect way to test your flirting skills.

The staff and its regulars are masters of the flirting game. Make sure to fill your glass up with booze and enjoy your stay as the bar opens only from 6 PM to 6 AM.

Arasaka Tower

Arasaka Tower is a landmark in Night City that is rich in history. It is the headquarters of Arasaka America, which is a division of Arakasa. The tower has been built and rebuilt several times for the past few decades, notably after being destroyed in the 2013 assault.

It was rebuilt afterward but was destroyed ten years later, in 2023, during the Fourth Corporate War. Arasaka Tower was officially rebuilt in 2070, but this time, the tower looked impeccably more sinister than ever.

Donning a sleek surface of black glass, the tower looks like a block of dark ice when looked at from beyond. The Arasaka Tower has a memorial section that features a preserved area of the original tower.

This striking tower, alongside its colorful history, will remain one of the best places to visit in Night City.

Jig-Jig Street

Jig-Jig Street is found in the western area of Japantown District. As you enter the area, you will begin to notice that everything is sexualized, from the noise in the background right down to the signs.

Visiting Jig-Jig Street early on in the game tells you that Cyberpunk 2077 is set for a mature audience and that it wastes no time in absorbing you into the world within Night City.

You get to feel the energy and excitement as you pass by each establishment. It also does not hurt that you get desensitized with the game's overtly sexual themes.

Just make sure that you focus on your mission and have some fun walking around this iconic street.

Yagami Market

Stylistic yet very simple. Yagami Market is a place where you can have a drink alone without any of the pretentious and obnoxious conversations you have with other bars.

Set within the Wild Blue Hotel and Spa near Lele Park, Yagami Market is a high-end bar where you would feel like some fancy gentleman the moment you walk in.

The stylish blue color in the backdrop makes the entire scene very calming, and the seating area offers a more private conversation with your group.

Go ahead and chat with the bartender if you want some small talks without dealing with superficial subjects.

Conclusion

With all the different aesthetics and themes of each district, players can identify where they belong within the game. The diversity and the chaos of Night City are what make it truly unique.

A melting pot of cultures and tradition - Cyberpunk 2077 got one thing right.
